Port the legacy BMF phone number into the VisionPlay-managed BMF sub-account so the number clients already know moves with the migration.
CONTEXT
- Old account (Business Made Fair, location hW1zBgRHElUcWuXDVBuG) holds number +1 302 546 5089 (Samiyrah's), A2P registration completed/verified there.
- VisionPlay BMF sub-account (location 4eY65c1ROl5jpnlhwJsq) already has its own number +1 215-598-6441 (A2P submitted this session).
- This is a LIVE client number taking real calls/texts on a shared account (Blessed Empire Services + BMF owners also build there). Treat as a cutover-time move, coordinated in the BMF/BES Slack thread, NOT a flip-now.
DECISION NEEDED FROM BMF
- Port the 302 number IN (preserve the known number, retire the 215), OR keep the 215 and forward the 302.
HOW (not a simple toggle)
- Moving a number between GHL sub-accounts = release-and-re-add or a carrier port, usually via GHL support. A2P must be re-established on the receiving sub-account. Confirm exact path with GHL support before acting.
- Sequence with the domain cutover (same final migration phase), only once the VisionPlay account is rebuilt and live-ready.
DEFINITION OF DONE
- Chosen number is active in the VisionPlay BMF sub-account, A2P valid, inbound calls + texts route correctly, and the missed-call text-back + relevant workflows fire.
- Old account released from the number (if fully ported).
Before E2E test: place a real inbound call and text to the number after the port and confirm routing + workflow trigger before considering it live.
